Littering, invasion of privacy alleged in lawsuits by neighbors

An argument between two neighbors in the River Crossing subdivision produced another lawsuit in Kenosha County Court.

Kenosha attorney Gino Alia filed a claim for Robert and Tamara Hrncar, 6805 107th Ave., on Friday, accusing their neighbor, Robert A. Lake, of intentionally invading their privacy.

In March, Lake, who lives at 6811 107th Ave., filed suit against them, charging that Robert Hrncar used Lake's property ``for his own private garbage can, his personal spittoon as it were for the disposal of his `oral leavings.'''

Lake also claimed the Hrncars' landscaping violated the subdivision's covenants and modified drainage.

Their actions aggravated a medical condition he had, Lake said. He asked for $70,000 in damages and $1,754.65 spent on security cameras, including night vision and infrared cameras.

But the Hrncars, in their suit, say Lake complained ``for the purpose of intimidating and harassing these defendants.''

Lake is invading their privacy by conducting almost-constant surveillance, taking photographs and videotaping, the suit says.

They are asking for an injunction ordering Lake to stop these actions and for punitive damages.

Alia was unavailable for comment.
